Air travellers can reach the town via the neighbouring Birmingham International Airport, which can be reached by car in less than forty minutes by the M6 or by the regular and punctual trains to and from the Airport's own station. Domestic flights to the area may either land at Birmingham International or the nearby Leicester or Coventry airports.

The M1 and M6 motorways are only a few miles distant, allowing drivers to traverse the length of the country, from London and the South East, to Scotland in the north. To the west, England's second city, Birmingham provides one of the UK's main business and financial hubs outside of London. The town centre's imposing clock tower looks over the pedestrianised thoroughfares of High Street and Sheep Street, which offer some of the best department stores and boutiques to be found anywhere in England. Nestled amongst the Victorian architecture, shops and banks rub shoulders with one of the UK's most vibrant and exciting pub, club and restaurant scenes.

The West Midlands has an impressive history as the industrial heartland of England, and although manufacturing industry has declined over recent decades, a thriving business and financial community has grown throughout the region and in neighbouring cities. Due to its proximity to Birmingham in particular, many guests of a Rugby hotel are visiting the area on business and many of the hotels that are presented here are ideal for business meetings and exhibitions.

As one of the fastest-growing business and tourist destinations of the West Midlands, however, the town itself has much to offer leisure and commercial travellers alike. The town developed as a centre of regional commerce during the late 19th century, primarily due to the extensive rail network that connects it to the rest of the country and this accessibility continues to be a draw for business travellers.

Visitors to this historic town and borough have a huge range of quality hotels and other accommodation options to choose from. Most of the major hotel chains have franchises within the town and its outlying areas and guests of these establishments will find that a guestroom of hotels such as these to be very similar to others around the world.

The advantage of choosing a major-brand hotel is the standardisation of facilities and service, where guests can depend on a minimum size of bed, cable and satellite television, swimming pool, etc. For those who like their accommodation to reflect a bit more of the locale's character, the premises that are featured here will not disappoint.

For car drivers, the English countryside that surrounds Rugby is a true delight. There are few pleasures that can match a leisurely meander along the small country roads that criss-cross the West Midlands, taking in the region's extensive industrial and rural heritage along the way.

It is these small roads that often lead the inquisitive traveller to find a small privately-run inn or lodging that embodies everything that is unique and charming about accommodation in Warwickshire. Guestrooms in such premises can offer a unique taste of history, often having served the purpose for hundreds of years.

Within half an hour from the town centre, there is a wealth of hotel establishments that have been created from traditional country mansions, often within extensive grounds. These hotels often provide an unsurpassed level of service in the finest of quintessentially-English surroundings.

Rugby is only a short distance from the historic city of Oxford, and the Oxfordshire countryside is home to some of the most opulent and stately places to stay to be found anywhere on Earth.

Many country house hotels offer 5-star accommodation, with full-service spa facilities. Whilst such luxury comes at a price, most premium hotels and lodges offer special package deals, where dinner, bed and breakfast is included at a competitive rate, especially during the quieter seasons.

One does not have to travel outwith the town, however, to sample the joys of a quality, one-off Rugby hotel. The Victorian town centre and immediately adjacent neighbourhoods are home to many small, family-run places, where a warm welcome is guaranteed.

For those on a budget, there are also several travellers hostels, where a comfortable bed for the night can be had for a bargain, as well as a large number of snug bed and breakfast establishments.

The town's central location is a key factor in leading many businesses to have their premises in the borough. Business facilities provided by the hotels listed here are on a par with those to be found anywhere else, with trained staff on-hand to make sure a hosted event goes without a hitch.

A quality Rugby hotel such as those presented here provides the finest of West Midlands hospitality, whilst offering quality and value for money.
